Michelle is passionate about helping people navigate life's transitions (from big to small) with compassion, humour, and practical support. She believes that everyone deserves to feel heard and understood, whatever the circumstance.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Michelle has always been curious about people, their stories, and the experiences that shape our lives.
Her path to Tea & Toast has been anything but conventional. From helping out at her father's hearing clinic, to studying Funeral Services and working in deathcare, to completing a Bachelor of Arts in English at Carleton University, Michelle has spent much of her life exploring what it means to care for others and connect in meaningful ways.
When she's not working, Michelle enjoys reading, spending time in nature, painting, drawing comics, and indulging her endless curiosity about people, stories, and the human experience. She shares her home with Butters, a senior grey tabby who takes his supervisory duties very seriously.
Michelle is grateful to be part of the Tea & Toast team and feels privileged to connect with families and individuals navigating their eldercare journey.
